"I want to council your child"
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Patty Hollander.
I am a CREDENTIALED SCHOOL COUNSELOR and a certified life coach
I want to help you and your child have a happier, peaceful, and more productive life.
My goal is to improve your child’s self-esteem, enhance social and communication skills, improve focus for schoolwork, relieve stress and tension, aid in academic achievements and achieve greater peace of mind.
I give 30 minute individual counseling sessions and 40 minute group counseling sessions. My focus is to improve the well-being of your child.
I use several methods in my practice. Some of my methods are as follows:
What I Do
“Feelings” share: client shares how they’re feeling. This is proven to release stress.
NLP-Neuro Linguistic Programming
This is a method that reveals any underlying “impeding” thoughts that a person can have. The client then has a new positive affirmation to replace any self-defeating thoughts, hence changing the outlook on any situation.
Helps the client visualize what he/she wants in the future.
Facilitator speaks a dialogue to the client as he/she listens to relaxing music. Helps the client maintain and absorb all previous work in the session.
Goals for the up-coming week.
Group Power Assist
Group members help individuals with goal setting and affirmations. Group sessions only.
